Sorry
If Ford dealerships cannot help ( our local one I wouldn't trust with a wheelbarrow ) try asking around the smaller garages , or a friendly AA/RAC man if you know one. Friend had a Discovery II that would randomly refused to start went back to Marshalls where he had brought it 3 times but they couldn't find the problem .One day it wouldn't start AA turned up knew what the problem was fixed in 2 mins .Old school mechanic will be able to fault find main dealers will probarbly  just want to plug in laptop and if that says no problem they cannot do anything .

Is this for your Mobile Transceiver? I've not started to look for a hole through the bulkhead for a direct (Fused) connection, still considering a "Leisure Battery" in the Boot.

Hi again David. No its not for the transceiver, that comes from the boot.

I installed a 4 way mini fuse fuse box at the side of the rear seats which has split ways i.e can take 2 separate supplies, so 2 fuses per supply. The fuse box supplies ignition switched supply to the heated rear seats covers and the permanent supplies for the SatNav (which I still use even though the Kuga has OEM) and transceiver PSU. I only used a Yaesu FT1D on the air event connected to the rear window mount. Might have a rethink on transceiver as I got myself a FT-817ND last year, but space is a premium of course.

So there are plenty of positions in the rear for a switched or permanent supply but it depends what power your running of course. Remind me if you've already told me, what your running.

I'm pulling the fuse box out to access the wiring to modify to allow the foglights to come on with main beam. But there is ample connection space to connect a permanent supply behind the glove box, once your behind it I guess.

I’ve noticed ever since we’ve had our 2016 tit x sport in platinum white from new that both bumpers do not match the rest of the car.
At first it bothered me but not anymore. One of my neighbours had also commented the mismatch.

Anyway, the Kuga had its second service yesterday at Trust Ford. The technician commented on the service papers That the front bumper was a mismatch.

When I mentioned that both didn’t match the service staff said they’d respray them both at Fords cost.

I declined as I put it down to how the light catches the paint.

But yeah, it doesn’t look good on the amount of owners that have this issue.

Upside down camera image...  I posted about that the other day and battery was suggested.  I think I'm on original battery and voltage is under 12 volts so I'm think that may be causing the issue.  Could quite easily cause your problem too.

ok so the front indicator bulb failed on my mk2 titanium . after working out how to get it out of the cluster in the front skirt ( Ford say non servicable item which means at least half a day at local dealer and £150 worse off) I decided to remove the front wheel , remove the trim around wheel arch and pull back arch liner keeping it back with string tied to the susp leg . only to find the washer reservoir is in the way and you can just about get one arm in the area to reach to get to the bulb holder , 2 arms in if you are skinny like me !! I decided not to try to remove the connector as i could not get to it anyway. ( arms , wrists red and scratched oh you will need a light to see inside the skirt and housing area which will also restrict your hands when trying to do the job.

pulled the bulb out which is a toshiba orange bulb with 2 metal prongs either side . went to Ford dealer and after lots of teeth sucking " we dont stock bulbs we can get it 2 days later " went to local car parts shop who sold me what i thought was the correct one totally identical. went to push it in the holder but no way it appears its slightly thicker at the bayonet end !

went to local motor works parts supplier and they had one which just about fit in the holder. MY ADVICE IS ORDER AT LEAST 2 NOW FROM FORD TO SAVE YOU HAVING TO WAIT 2 DAYS !!!

well done ford for designing a vehicle that is a real ball ache to just change a bulb . cant wait for the next small item that needs replacing !!!!

Booked my 66 plate Titanium in with 3rd party towbar fitter for tow bar fit with dedicated electrics. During installation I got a call from the fitter who informed me the car is not equipped to take dedicated wiring loom so universal wiring is the only option! Really? Has anybody else heard of such a thing?

Its a simple plug and play dedicated electrics so it is surprising.

Thanks to those who posted assistance for the glove box removal, made for easy access to the cable assemblies on the BCM. Was a bit concerned that the cable colour code on the car didn't match the diagram I have, but soon checked and tested for the correct cables.

Ronnie I did manage to get a 6mm fork spade on one of the large screws on the underside of the glove box and tightened it up no problem and gave no inkling it would pull out. Its only providing a ground return for the mainbeam/foglight relay I've added.

Anyone reading this, Fuses F75 in the BCM fuse box behind the glove box, is for the front foglights and not for the Rear foglights as specified in the manual. I already knew this may be the case before I started the mod as I would be utilising that particular fuse position and confirmed it was so prior to carrying the out the mod.

All Kuga can be fitted with dedicated electrics.  I think Zetecs dont have the connectors in the boot as standard so require can bus wires running to the front behind the dashboard somewhere.
if you look on PF jones they show kits for models with factory connectors and those without.
Sounds like they didnt want to fit the dedicated kit to me.

When I did mine, I had to buy 2 separate boxes along with the dedicated wiring socket but you got everything in the kit that was needed regardless of what was in the car, I didn't need a couple of the bits because my car already had some of the wiring. It even included a wire to run right through to the battery if required. So I don't believe there is a car that can't have a dedicated wiring kit fitted.

Sounds like you need a different fitter, one that knows what he's doing. By fitting a universal kit, it won't turn off the foglights or the parking sensors.

maybe this has been asked before ?, are all Haldex gen 4 interchangeable ?, I'm looking for an oil pump for my Gen 4 haldex as oil pressure is low, I can see many haldex gen 4 for all different cars, after close examination they all look exactly the same, just the length of the electrical connection wire that is different ie; longer/shorter.

Anybody shed some light on this question,  are all Haldex gen 4 interchangeable ?,

Well done , these people never give up trying to rob the public, after paying them good money they always want more , I suppose they get taught all this at the salesman training school - charge them for everything, when mine goes in for a service they always tell me this needs flushing that needs washing out mine is only 2 years old, and after the service it has a complimentary jetwash which takes all of 30 seconds looking at it -- anyway hope it gets sorted and happy motoring.
