Here's the direct link if anyone wants to check theirs :

https://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/obsolete-products/#replacementoffer-tab

Looks like my faithful old TomTom Go 700 has past it's bestCry  One the best things I like about TomTom's, and particularly TomTom Home, is the ability to plan and alter routes in the comfort of your armchair, then upload them to the TT sat nav - I don't know of any car based system that allows you to do that.

I have a 2015 (65)Kuga Titanium X can anyone tell me if the windscreen wipers should go to park position when turning off the ignition, I'm sure they used to but may be mistaken.

Wouldnt have thought DRLs had a beam, they are not there to illuminate the road, just to make vehicle visible to other road users

Do you mean upgrade the bulbs to make them brighter/whiter or actually adjust the light itself which you cannot do as it is an integral part of the headlight so the only way you could alter the DRL would be by adjusting the headlight which would affect the headlight beam.

You can DIY using the free program "ForScan" and doing the wiper motor calibration. So you'll need a PC/ laptop, OBD2 ELM327 device modified with switch to suit Ford Medium Speed Bus (or buy OBDLink MX Bluetooth adapter which is a lot better) and download the free ForScan software.

You run the program in the wiper mode and physically move each wiper up to the desired maximum sweep when instructed to. The program will then memorise that position by storing it in the BCM.

You can check the park position against the marks on the windscreen. The wiper blades should sit in between them. To adjust that you need to unbolt the wipers, use a gear puller to remove them and then reposition them. If they're out (and concern you) do that before the calibration. You can leave them where they are and just do the calibration procedure.

I brought a new Vauxhall combo van last year after about a month the DPF light came on, 20 mins of driving at about 2-2 1/2k  rpm light goes out this happened a few times then left light on for a few days then got engine management light on which wouldn't go out and loss of power. Took it back to dealership was told as I do low mileage ( after 6 months not hit 2500 miles ) take it out once a week and give it a good run for 25 mins .
If car smells hot when you get out take it out for a blast for about another 5 mins as this is when regen is not complete .

As far as I'm aware the park assist is standard, no cost.  Good job really, who would pay for that?!

Heated seats are part of the 'Winter Pack'.

'Drivers Assistance Pack' is Active City Stop, Lane Keeping Aid, Traffic Sign Recognition, Driver Alert and Auto High Beam and Blind Spot Information System (BLIS).

This is all true and good info on what to do, to keep things working. However in this case, the DPF is actually failing to regen, causing the diesel to end up in oil, causing the level to rise greatly. Which in turn will cause diesel ''runaway''.

Does the winter pack include the supplementary cabin heater, or is that now completely removed.

Ah well, I guess they think the heated steering wheel is a good substitute, its a warm feel wheel anyway.

The additional 300W supplementary heater I've added makes all the difference to defrosting and heating the cabin. particularly the rear where its located.

They can deal with a little air in the system after they are running that's what throws the curved ball.

when the engine is trying to catch and not getting the correct amount of fuel and air I expect anything could make the engine shake
Hope they get to the cause soon

Yes I think it did and end of 2015 the supplementary heater had been dropped. is the heated wheel a comic replacement.

My comment re warm feel wheel is referring to the unheated wheel if that may have confused.

I love my heated seats and wheel, would be a must on any future car now.  Within minutes of starting the car my hands and body are kept warm.  Not so beneficial for passengers though.
