I have never needed to use it
When I started Driving there were still cars with cable operated brakes
It is just with the other problems I wanted to have all the facts before speaking to the dealer
On the Auto you can't turn it on or off

I have a full set of genuine Ford rubber mats and boot liner for a Mk2.

The mats are £20, and the boot liner is £35.

Photos to follow, but these mats are in excellent condition as I only bought them last year, and only had them in the car during the wetter months.

Prices are for collection only (Worthing or Burgess Hill, West Sussex), but I am willing to post them for the cost of postage.

The left hand side wiper blade goes off the edge of the windscreen slightly which makes an annoying clicking noise. The park position seems fine, is there any way of adjusting this?

FYI, the sign recognition does use the sat nav data if it hasn't recognised a sign.  In fact right now that is all mine does for some reason.  I suppose in theory it's better with the sign recognition if the map data is out of date or there's a temporary limit.

What's the problem?  Mine definitely holds for the few seconds it's supposed to but once it releases the "automatic creep" won't be enough to hold it on a steep hill.

They won’t do any warranty work until it flags up on diagnostic.

Had a similar issue on a new focus about 6 years ago, Big Bang noise, opened up the bonnet and the engine was flapping around like a freshly caught fish. Turned out to be a snapped mount or mount bolt...It also ripped out some oil seals.

Some has recently posted they had an engine mount issue and I dont think he's posted a result from the dealer.

There has been posts regards a rattle and banging as though the firing order is out of sequence which similarly, second time to start has fired OK.

Well it looks like TomTom are ditching updates to some of their SatNAvs. I guess the ones for some Ford models will be on the list as they were well out of date when they were given to Ford as far I've ascertained.

That was interesting Phil, just updated mine yesterday (Go600) and checked list of affected devices via the link and mines not included so must be still ok. Having said that, there are a lot of devices on that list so only time will tell. Yet another ploy by companies trying to force people into renewing items

Just to be clear, while removing the DPF may fix your problem it may cause others. The DPF is a mandatory requirement and forms part of the homologation approval for all modern cars. Removing it means the car no longer meets the statutory standards and ceases to be road legal. Not only is it a criminal offence to take it on the road in that state but it also automatically invalidates your insurance - and it is of course also a crime in the UK to drive without valid insurance. The car would also lose all re-sale value if identified.

MoT might not pick this up, but other work on the car might.

Ever tried to fit skis through a ski flap when the boots full of cases and ski boots.......
I can fit three sets of skis behind the front passenger seat and still (could) fit two people in the back.
I do have to take the boot cover off though to get all the cases in...
Maybe I need an X5 or a Transit van - LOL

Yes it doesn't sound like mounts. Best get it back to the service guys and see what they make of it. If it was OK prior to service then whatever they've done need undoing it seems.

Michelin Stealth from Costco, only 7 quid each and they're brilliant. Quiet too, I hate squeaky wipers!
