Its a higher sidewall for sure then. So what are the tyre options shown on your door label or handbook? The 50 option is for 18" here in the UK not 19" so are they different for Scandinavian countries?

I've not noticed anything untoward on our 2013 Titanium X Powershift Diesel.

I suppose you could call it a little bit noisy dragging a 1550kg caravan up hills but I personally wouldn't expect any car to be silent in this situation!.

Never felt any vibrations through the steering wheel.

I have been reading this article with interest but yes the tyre do make a small difference to the mpg 2mpg ish up or down, but the main problem is that Ford do not provide any economical engines for Ford Kuga petrol / diesel, 2 wheel / 4 wheel drive ,auto or manualgear boxes , and the fuel figures they would have you and silly me believe are farcical bordering on a pack of lies.

Right, having now done the oil change, I can confirm it has a plastic sump which explains the 90degree twist of plastic sump plug. To confirm it's a 16 plate 2L 180 diesel

Well, I haven't had any issues like that. But I did have an issue with the reverse gear sensor/switch.
After about 190 000km it went dead. Maybe Ford is willing to ''test'' with a new sensor?

Was that a Mk2?? If it was a MK1 then it cant have been working but the 200W one on the MK2 wasn't very good I'll agree. Its even worse without one as mine is now. Not sure what Ford were thinking of apart from saving money of course.

Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252989391020

What are you towing try a little less trailer nose wieght or a lower gear for given speed .
How much wieght are you pulling.

The bro inlaw phoned me earlier ti ask if i knew why...
His wife as a 2011 kuga 2ltr tdci with 45k mileage and she just uses it to travel 10miles a day for work..
The issue he says that his kuga as is that if they travel out anywhere for the day that is more than the daily work distance the following morning it can be a bitch to crank n start similar issue to what we have..
Never an issue unless they have a day out....
He as had the throttle valve ckd and the egr valve and they are all ok...
There no fault codes at all......
