I have tried to search but can't seem to find a thread I read in the past talking about the best way to drive. The reason I bring this up is because I recall from the thread I read others were talking about having to put the foot down on the accelerater as it helped with preventing clogs in the system. I thought about it today as I drive really slowly myself and never really go over 70 miles and instead I tend to drive at at least 65 miles per hour. Is that good to not good for the engine or whatever it is that might clog up please?

If you used Paypal to pay then you can also lodge a claim against them for the goods being different to what you purchased.  They then have to respond within a certain time period. It will force them to fix the problem or else you'll get a refund.

Yet another question about electrics but this one may be slightly different
I'm currently in the process of fitting a towbar to my Kuga
I usually used the Right Connection dedicated wiring kitshaving installed these on e Renault Megane and a Peugeot 3008

When checking on ebay I came across this make ''ESC'' who offer a dedicated wiring kit at less than my original choice

I would like to ask if anyone has any experience of this kit and was it successful in regards to fitting annd programming

many thanks

You're almost certainly on about the Diesel Particulate Filter ( DPF) . Driving regularly on Dual Cs and motorways at normal speeds for these roads and you won't have a problem. Problems occurr in diesel engines that cover mostly short journeys or lots of town driving so the DPF doesn't reach the required "state" to do a regeneration, regular high speed motoring overcomes this ( its the same with all manufacturers ) . It is possible to force a "regen" by driving for at least 20 minutes in lower gear than normal, no higher than 4th gear so higher revs are maintained

Open a case through e bay, they will contact the seller with set time scales and if you paid through paypal arrange reimbusement. The more details you have the better, photographs are a great help

Hi people.

I have just purchased a dashcam from eBay to install in my 2015 Kuga. It uses piggy back connectors for the power source which I know is located above the passenger footwell.

Can anyone advise me what fuse is a constant and an accessory?

Cheers,

Jarrod

You don`t ask you don`t get , fords usually good.
Worked straight out of box and no cutting into loom.

On my ST-line the sunroof got a line of clothes filter to prevent air and noise from getting into the car when roof is opened.

But,
what if i want this air inside the car, i can hold the line down by hand, but not very confy to drive like that.
Anyone else found it needful to have air coming into the car from above?

I found out,
that during this warm summer time, i use an awful lot more fuel to cool the car ;(

So, if i turn it off and get air in from above, i save fuel and actually it is not so annoying.

And no, opening the side windows is not a better solution Wink

i have just taken delivery of a tow bar and dedicated wiring kit from P F Jones. On opening up the wiring box the modules inside are marked up ESC. The kit looks pretty good with good instructions.
I will be fitting over the weekend sometime, so will let you know how I get on.

Thanks for replys so far.
Just to update, I have once again emailed Ford to ask for their help.
The local Ford dealers are still saying with no fault code we can't find anything wrong.
I'm still not happy with this attitude.
Ford head office called me this week after an email was sent to Ford CEO
I got a phone call on Monday to say we are looking into it and then again on Weds that we are looking into it.
Today Friday 25th May, I had a phone to say what has been told to me repeatedly.
Ford can't do anything without a fault code.
I'm very annoyed, no one wants to seem to deal with it and attempt to put things right.
Can someone please advise me what I can do with this problem.
Many thanks

I'm not sure about the Titanium X, but certainly on the Titanium, rear sensors were not standard and they had to be added as extras. Ridiculous on a car of that size and price.

That explains a lot, then, it just seemed a bit haphazard the way the way it was specced.... I'm guessing that roof rails can't be fitted with the opening sunroof?

Well the first service was slightly early mile wise, the second was 168 miles late but not to concerned about that, it would be nice to have the full history, do you know if it's possible to get it from Ford (assuming it's been done at a ford dealer i guess).

Thanks for the info on the rails. i'll take a look to see if they're fittable with the glass roof

My estimated build date was 24/05/17, with an estimated date at the dealers of 24/6/17.
Phoned my dealer today for a update and yes it was built on the 24/05/17 but the good news is the date at the dealers has been brought forward to 17/6/17 so it looks like it is arriving a week early.
