As I've mentioned earlier, maybe they forgot in the beginning or they dont want you to tow the Kuga.

OK the front is finished.

Anyone have any info on the back one?
Does the 2017 Kuga(Escape) have one?
Is this the correct spot?

That looks like the right spot- given the access hole. You could stick your head under the rear bar and have a look, unlike the front end it will most likely be relatively easy to see behind the plastic.

I'm looking to sell my DTUK CRD3+ tuning box, which has been fitted to my Mk2 2.0 TDCI 150ps FWD since 14th September.

I'm only selling due to needing to free up some funds, and I'm gutted.  It's really brought the car to life, and I'll definitely have another one in a few months time!

This is the 3-channel, top of the range box, which I purchased new.  It will come in it's original box, along with instructions.

More can be read about the CRD3+ boxes here:

http://www.diesel-performance.co.uk/box-details.php?id=25

This box fits the 2.0TDCI 150ps mk2, increasing power to approx 190ps and torque from 370Nm to 450Nm.  My mpg has also increased from a daily 42mpg up to 50+mpg.  I can also comfortably average 60+mpg on a run now.

More info on this specific product here:

http://www.diesel-performance.co.uk/vehicle-ford_kuga_2x4-2.0-tdci-150-ps

The RRP for this box is £459, currently on offer for £399 plus postage.  I'm looking for £320 inc delivery, which I feel is fair, considering the box is as good as brand new.  Collection possible from Essex, and I'll even fit free of charge if collected.

Pictures are available on request.

Please don't hestitate to pm me on here, or drop me a text on Phone number removed as per note below.  Please bare in mind I have a 3-month old, so may not respond straight away, but I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible!

Just used this helpful guide to change my alternator on my 6 year old 125,000km 2.0 Kuga.

Thank you for the step by step photos they were really useful in allow me to change it in less than 1.5 hours.

As quoted elsewhere I didn't require disconnecting the fuel filter just moved it upwards and rearwards out of the way.

Also found it easier to put the belt onto the alternator wheel before rotating the alternator and fixing the top screws.

Looking for some sand tires.

I see many reports of people liking the Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2.

Anyone have anything Bad to say about them?

Other tires for sand suggestions?

Thanks for suggesting "Gummi Pflege" to cure the door rattle. Excellent.

A little safety tip the garages use - keep the battery connected to at charger when flashing the ECU.

Loosing battery power during a flash will leave you with an bad ECU.

Yes i know loosing power during the flash is probably not an issue but just to be safe - perhaps :-)

New starter on here so please bear with me . Just had a whiter detachable flanged tow bar fitted with dedicated electrics and programed to the car. All fine at the moment although I haven't towed with the car yet. Our caravan is a Coachman Pastiche with a gvw of 1520kg. The Kuga is a 180 AWD Powershift.
Interested in opinions,  if anyone else out there pulls with a powershift. Will post views/opinion when its had its first tow but only covered 660 miles to date  so  intend towing when it has 1000 miles on the clock.

I recommended Gummi Pflege a while back to someone else on a previous topic because it is excellent stuff and lasts a long long time before reapplication is needed if at all

This page says that Gummi Pflege is water based https://www.carcareproducts.com.au/product/einszett_1z/rubber_care_stick_gumme_pfledge - does that mean it dissolves if it gets wet???

Try here for the owners manual. Unfortunately its not available as a full download and I suspect Ford wont finish it off now the revised Kuga has come out, but it does help.

Thanks for that I suspected that since the new facelift has mostly the same internal bits, don't think the Sync 3 is vastly different. Anyway I like treasure hunts and finding new things very impressed so far
