I would have liked an X but being freakishly tall I could not take the headroom hit. So I have had to just go for the Titanium Sport with everything but towbar and 19" wheels. I had to order in moondust silver because the wife made me.

There's a headroom difference? Why's that?

thank you for your reply

I work for a ford dealership and no look. I've tried all over, even searched the part number tried to find it online. I found a place which said he could get on from Germany, I placed the order and got an e-mail back the day after saying order was cancelled due to parts being out of stock.

Does anyone know if it would be possible to have ambient lighting (like on the Mk2) retro fitted to a '61 plate Mk1 Titaniumx 2.0 TDCI auto?
I like the lights in the door handles of the Mk2 (my wife has them in her '62 plate Focus titanium)

Hi all. I've got water in the front passenger footwell. I've heard it could be caused by a bad seal on he pollen filter. Where though is the pollen filter?

The 5 speed Fitted to My Petrol kuga is a Volvo ( Asin Warner built ) AW55 conventional transmission. Powershift Gearboxes are stipulated by Fords (and other manufacturers ) to require the oil transfused every 3 years regardless of mileage as part of the servicing regime at around £250.00 so make sure this has been done  when considering purchasing a vehicle it is fitted to

I have had my Kuga MK II for 18 months (18,000miles), the Kuga has failed to start now on 4 occasions the last one was on Sunday 17th. Jan. and I had to get the Assistance Recovery to come and try to start it , the battery was completely dead. I had a meal booked and was ready to go, 1.5 hrs. later the recovery arrived and took 20 mins. to jump start the battery.
I have spoken to the local Ford garage where I bought the Kuga because as stated earlier this is the 4th. time it has happened.
They just said that there is nothing they can do, batteries are not included in the warranty and they don`t think that replacing it would make any difference anyhow. I have been and just spent £100 today on a new battery still not knowing if it is going to cure the `dead battery` situation.
I am at the end of my tether with it, I have looked at `parasitic drawdown`, but what can I do.
The actual battery placement on the Kuga is a farce, and I will have to pay a garage now to fit the new one.
I am normally a very placid person but this is beyond a joke.  Any advice would be most welcome.OuchCry

So what did the dealer mean by changing the battery wont make any difference. Do they mean they think there is a fault, if so they should be agreeing to find it.

The windows and locks etc are controlled from a door module in the door are they not and all electrical protection is carried out electronically rather than fuses.

According to the garage there is no fault, it is just the battery losing charge ( even though I have been driving the car all week) and there is nothing they will do.
