Just been to the Ford dealer to look at the colours to try and decide.   It didn't help !!
I went to look at the Magnetic v Deep impact blue but have now added Ruby red and white to the list as well !!

You could go with the Titanium Sport, I had a look at one while I was waiting in the showroom, looks like a Sport X but without a few bits like sunroof and electric seats, etc but does have active park assist and parking sensors as standard, plus the full colour coded body kit.

When I was looking at for winter tyres the 19" ones weren't that much more than 18" ones (didn't check summers) but the wife said no to the £500 difference in the wheels!!
Ruby is an extra over standard metallic so that might sway you back to Deep Impact or Magnetic if the lease company charges extra.

Thanks for the replies, fellas. This was my first thoughts, which was why I checked the voltage, although I still don't understand why it just does it for the first mile or so. As well as the problems already mentioned, when I start the car in the morning, the background on the small orange readout, which shows the mileage etc, is relatively bright making it difficult to read the numbers. I have also just noticed that when the warning lights flash on, the temperatures on the heater controls go off too.

Are you sure about that Morph? Seems a bit odd to put cars on a ship then take them off in Belgium to have to then put them back on. Pretty sure mine came straight from Valencia Port to Southampton - I even tracked the ship it was on!!

Hi, just put a deposit down on a 4wd Zetec (140) Kuga and checked the towing capacity on line against a swift caravan with MTPLM 1465Kg. This gives an 83% match but the write up states that it's just suitable for most journeys with some limitations...stability being one of them.

Is this a good match and has any one experianced any issues with the same outfit or similar?

Have I made a mistake investing in this car?

Hi bmp. I recently went down the leasing route for the first time and I think it's the best way to go. I went with Evans Halshaw as they were ( by some margin) the cheapest. More than happy with the service and although prices have gone up since I ordered mine, they still seem to be the cheapest by far. As for which model, I went for the tit x sport as it was only a small premium over the tit x. Absolutely love all the toys - if you can afford it go for it. You won't regret it!!

Thanks for that - I will try them out.

I am 99% certain now that I will go with the tit x sport. As you said it is only a bit extra to get that model.
What colour did you go for?

We went for Frozen White. Nicest colour in my opinion but also seems to be the most common (or most popular depending which way you look at it!!)

White was on my list until my wife told me I wasn't allowed. She has a white fiesta and next door have 2 white cars.
Magnetic is top of my list at the moment.

You are right about the toys - I have been looking through the spec list. Should keep me busy.

Had the same situation in that I liked Magnetic and Frozen White but the fact that our other car is almost exactly the same colour as Magnetic made the decision for us. In my opinion Magnetic looks the classier colour whilst white looks sportier.

BMP, if you haven't already done so, try looking at 'What Car' leasing. They don't actually do leasing but act as a price comparison website. This is the site I used when ordering mine and the price I got was £40 per month cheaper than any other quote I received. Give it a try, could save you some money.

Thanks for the info. I used that site last week to get a few prices. It worked well as the company I am currently with agreed to match the prices on there.

Re the colour - It is fast becoming a case of what I can't have rather than what I want !!  Cant have white because of wife's car, can't have red as it is the same as ........   etc etc  My first Kuga was black so I can't have black.   I am down to Blue or Magnetic. My current car is blue so it more or less leaves Magnetic. To be fair that was one of top 2 I wanted anyway.

The only other choice I was considering was Auto v manual.  I thought it would be nice to have a change and go for Auto but I have already pushed the price up and up so i need to stop somewhere.
The order is going in tomorrow or Tuesday anyway so that will stop me from changing my mind.

Ford will want media coverage of the New EDGE. Plus it's bigger so that's where my money is going.

I Have a MK1 Kuga, 2009 2.0 tdci zetec, seems to be an awful big gap between the top of the door card and the side windows, and the windows don't clear on the inside or outside when you open or close the windows, is there a seal missing. (all windows are the same)

Thanks.
