Many thanks for the weblink with the pictures.
One minor difference with the US to the European models without the Xenon lights is that they run a separate parking light to the direction indicator so the lower spec EU cars have 3 bulbs in the lower light unit.

My US model has fog, parking(running) and turn signal. Three lights in my Titanium model. Hopefully the procedure to access is the same.

Sorry that is the same as the EU ones, I assumed that the running light was yellow so was the direction light illuminated permanently.
On mine the day running light is combined with the main beam bulb as a twin filament 15W 55W bulb.

The insurers should never have paid for the repairs in the first place, IMHO. I'd love to be a fly on the wall when Nationwide see the bill.

Now that looks like the fault I had on mine, 'fuel vaporiser'. Frightning isnt it when it doesnt pick up.

Thanks Fillco will mention that when it goes in and get them to check it out also forgot to mention sometimes it hard to get it in to 2nd and 4th on the way down the box. The little lady was driving it when in 3rd gear doing 25 mph it was show shift down to 1st I didn't believe her until it happen to me So it also has a gear problem as you said freighting it is when there nothing then the turbo kicks in and it shoots off

I never noticed the gear indicator issue.

Yes I thought it was turbo related but as it already hit high revs and as you know there is no power when the problem occurs then it kicks in, it is like there is no fuel. Only manifested itself under hard acceleration and smart gear change.

If you look at your engine, the vaporiser is about 10cm diameter, silver and on the RH end of the engine head with a few pipes to it.

Get your dealer to look at it. The manual box on my previous Kuga was terrible when I had it. It didn't want to go into 1st, 2nd or 3rd with 1st being the worst.

The guy on the service desk said they couldn't find a problem but the dealer principle was coming out with me to see how it worked for me. In the car he told me they'd made some adjustments (the service guy must have told me a few porkies) and it was better although not perfect.

A couple of weeks later it went bad again so it was booked in. Once more I was told that on the test drive it was fine for the mechanic. The service desk man that told me this had only just got back from what I assume would have been his dinner break and probably didn't know that I'd waited at the dealers this time and had seen that there was no test drive just the car driven from the carpark to the workshop, about 200 feet! Anyway, the gearbox was faultless afterwards and remained so. They'd definitely done something properly this time.

Thanks Gents
I will make sure the dealer look at the vaporiser first as goes for the gear box I think it the selector that's out of sync and my be a sensor on the box my be why she's only doing 47 mph
but that's a difference story will let you how I get on

Quick update on this, returned the first reader and ordered another one (the same) but from a different supplier .... and guess what, this one doesn't work either!!??

I can't believe two would be faulty, are there differnt types of CANBUS on Kuga's and I'm ordering the wrong type?

Oh well, would have been a nice addition to the toolbox but on my car is just isn't going to happen!

Seen this post on http://www.drive2.ru/l/8432420/

I do not know about you, but I'm not happy with the kugolinz, and I think it's Trouble in general fordofar. I read basically pro lens headlamps Experience + friends - settles some patina on them and light figovenko breaks. It does not matter, halogen lamps, or Xen. Krc speaking, took as a basis for an article of one of the IBM-drivers www.drive2.ru/l/8269738/ and did the same operation. Headlights to not photographed, but officially declare - lighting has become twice as better. Denёk, of course, for this I chose not comme il faut - snowing, damp car without headlights on the street, beauty. Fortunately driven by some nedokozyrek at the entrance. Lights brought home and did everything on his knees, just like sewing shoes for the little Vietnamese market.

And so, the lens with a reflector mounted on the three bolts, we unscrew and prosiraem inside the headlamp as a good magnetic screwdriver we have. We go further. Remove the chip from the solenoid control curtain beam, so do not forget to break off the clips, at least on one side.

We need the star 20

Inside the block lights unfold the entire module to the top of the lens, and wonder why it is matt on the inside.

Naturally it is fogged, the street is a minus. But for comparison, I Otter small area

Then all this mess alcohol wipe cloth and microfiber. The same is done with a reflector, since the upper part of the same raid and he was a little mate. Only here the main thing is not to overdo, and the chrome on the entire napkin move.

He walked only with a damp cloth

One turned out to be a little toasted reflector

Fibro wipe very well as fiber. And of course the sponsor as a result of our entire work is microfiber! The villi on the lens, I saw clearly that it was collected and stood still. Well figs with them. Light did not interfere, but the decision came up with: air compressor, pressure and inflate all the dust particles on the lamp, but the main thing on the lens will not be.

I am happy as a child eggKinder surprise. The border is now more distinct light and shade, the beam is much brighter and wider.

In all the work it took half an hour maximum. I advise everyone, no problems. All the good fiber, Paz)

Interesting solution from our friends in Russia ... http://www.drive2.ru/l/8313117/
It based on a FORD FOCUS Mk3 ESTATE 2011-2015 PARCEL ... maybe Ford should raid the parts bin?

..."In connection with the adjustable rear seat backs between them and the rear shelf is the distance through which, from the inside, the outside through the glass, you can see what lies in the trunk, and that I was a bit annoyed)) There is an idea of ksey3000 www.drive2.ru/l / 4296375 / I thought to do well, but!on FF3 wagon factory is rear shelf with a special closing visor, so, I decided the whole thing to defer to its Kugu)) All this is certainly not budget like ksey3000, but all the details of the original))) And so it was acquired Regiment from FF3 wagon

further dismantle it, for this we need a straight screwdriver
Required slot screwdriver

assort

We take out the desired shade

hereinafter dismantle shelf from Coogee

visor insert into a groove, dress plastic marginalia and go to put on the car)))

pleased with the work done and the lack of a foolish hole))

Hi all.

Well after lurking for a short time I finally got the chance to actually order my first Kuga today.

Titanium X, 180Ps, AWD, Powershift, Frozen White, SatNav, Appearance Pack and Convenience Pack.

Provisional delivery date I am hoping will be end of March beginning of April so fair way to go yet but cant wait.

Wont be making too many changes to it as its being ordered through the Motability scheme but will be adding a towbar sooner rather than later and probably a dashcam when I can decide which one to get.

Cheers.
Matt

Today I ordered my first Kuga with Vospers in Truro, Cornwall and although I am purchasing the car through the motability scheme they were an absolute pleasure to deal with and spent ages going over all my options and any adaptations I needed.

Highly recommend them for anyone in Cornwall looking at a Ford of any model.

Could get expensive though as the wife fell in love with the Ecosport.

Hopefully will be taking delivery end of March beginning of April which is a long way away but I cant wait.

Nationwide rang this morning, they've accepted that they made a **** job of fitting the roof and have agreed to pay for Ford to fit another.

So, sometime in January (hopefully!) I'll be getting it back, just in time for my upcoming PIP assessmentAngry

As far as the dashcam, I've been using the Nextbase Duo in mine (front & rear facing) with great results.

Thanks for responding - mine seems to becoming more and more reluctant to start on the first press and now have to dip the clutch once or twice before the starter engages.   What is the cost of a new sender do you know?
