37000kms on mine with no problems and going on 100000km on my previous 1ltr ecoboost B-max also with no problems.... but saying that is probably the kiss of doom Confused

You have been treated badly by the dealer but once Ford got involved they where pushing for you but still the dealer was not on side. Poor customer service is an understatement and I can understand why you went elsewhere.

@foneman Don't know yet,
Just got her three weeks ago so sort of playing with the power etc.
Got out of a Subaru Forester 2.0 diesel and the Kuga is streets ahead
powerwise, The Subie was 150 hp also.
Fuel economy is better too. Way nicer to drive.
Would never have considered a Ford till my GF got a Fiesta
and saw a Kuga in the showroom.
I use it for work so bought slightly used cus I wreck them.
Will do an economy run soon and post it on the MPG thread

Pretty sure the new kuga engines have nothing to do with Peugeot.
Correct me if I’m wrong ...

Wife's car is a 2016 Kuga, yep Peugeot engine, loads of references on web about. Just type,
ford kuga peugeot engine.....
Very new Kuga not sure hope there not, will have to get under the bonnet of one to look, but as the very new 2017 is just a facelift, one can never tell as online reference still show it as a duratorq engine and references PsA manufacturing.
So if someone has one look for a casting mark...

Not sure if there is an update for the 1.1 and if there is any advantage. Lots of posts on the Sync 2 and Sync3.

If there was a hole in it when they refilled it originally, it would more than likely not have worked (or for long) when you picked it up. Over winter with little or no use the compressor seals may stick so that when you use it the seals rip and the gas escapes, but will reseal for when it is filled up again.

Thats the trouble Geoff and Ford probably make money out of them being fussy.

Have you had the fuel filter changed? (I guess thats to Cris!

Equally, if there was just a pinhole the lubricant injected as part of the regas may have temporarily sealed it.

Difficult to prove either way I'm afraid.

OK, in from the 'left field' if no one can come up with the part number.

Down to your local pet shop as the same plastic tubing is used in most aquaria and most good pet shops stock a wide variety of connectors and t-pieces.

Hi all, I have recently purchased a 2015 titanium x and wondered if the tailgate "kick" opening is standard or that mine just doesn't work?
Many thanks

Probably all that Ford would do too, well maybe!

I've done it a number of times, but you need to be aware that the fuel will flow back down the pipe to the tank and it is a pain to re-prime the filter and fuel pump. The fuel pump is after the filter so it will not self prime. You will need some sort of suction pump / primer bulb to suck the fuel back up from the tank.
