I got my boot liner from Ford pleased with the quality.
I noticed just by chance when i ordered my ST line that the dog guard was a £200 factory fit option because of the roof fittings and Ford would not be doing an aftermarket one.

The zoom button is on the screen.

I can see the number plate on both settings (right at the bottom of the screen obviously).

This is a 136ps diesel. Problem happened allways in first start, sometimes is worst, sometimes better...
At morning battery got 11.98V

How to measure this cranking speed?
Can I check it by ELM327 in Forscan or Torque

Since getting my Kuga last November I'm finding quite a few chips mainly at the front few inches of the bonnet, is this common to the Kuga. They're not easy to see on a Frozen white car either due to the glare that comes from it.

I bought my Kuga new last November too, its in magnetic ...a dark colour.
Ive done just over 2k miles and I dont have a single stone chip on it and we had a lot of snow and ice this year so most of the miles has been on winter roads it lives outside and has only been washed twice (To bloody cold).

I ordered an extention from Amazon and it's just been delivered. A standard mini usb won't plug in to the supplied cable. Seems it's not a standard cable.

I am going to have 1 more attempt to find a route but failing that, I think it's a case of sell the camera and get a single point one instead.

Mk2 General Discussion : Cleaning chrome trim around windows

Hi

I've noticed my chrome trim around the windows has some small marks on it, looks like "rust". It's not rust but that's the closest thing I can think to describe it as.

I can't use chrome cleaner as its not really chrome - so what can I use?

Thanks!

I have just cleaned my Kuga and had what sounds like similar marks. I cleaned the chrome with some paste I had in a tube. It was a BMW product, but I think it used to be called Solvol Autosol or similar. Anyway it cleaned the marks off with a very small amount on a piece of stockinette. I also used it to polish my exhaust trims.

I managed to clean my Kuga, at long last, this morning(the first dry, calm day for months). When drying off I noticed 2 small chips on the bonnet and some on the Offside front bumper below the headlamp. I think they were the result of a journey down the A1 in amongst the trucks late last year.

Well that was a fuss over nothing. I went from the rear window and tucked it in the upper trim along the left hand side. When I got to the b pillar with the curtain airbags, I ran down the rear door rubber, behind the seat belt then up the front door rubber then carried on along the roof trim / door rubber. Then tucked into the top of the a pillar trim and finally across the windscreen. The only bit you can see is the bit at the bottom of the b pillar but who notices that unless you look?

The problem I now have is where to screw the ground for the permanent power feed. I am going to use either an ignition live or interior relay feed from the front fuse box.

Hi guys,

I have the premium Sony system on St line kuga 67 plate, it's lacking in bass. I've taken the door panel off and found it only has a 25w Ford speaker behind and not a Sony one. Would I be better off replacing it with another branded speaker to give it a little more bass?
I'm not interested adding a sub in boot or under the seat though.

My panther black was riddled and looked terrible when cleaned, eventually I had front bumper and bonnet resprayed and since then not one chip, I was convinced it was the paint used in the factory being substandard. After the repaint I fitted a bumper guard as well just in case, which was brilliant at keeping bonnet clean.

As said above, running lighter/ thinner grade oil is all geared around the fuel economy and emission figures rather than what's best for the engine..

No not water related cheers. I’ve tried a forced Regen using Forscan on the DPF but it has failed twice saying too much soot in it error code P2463. The DPF was removed cleaned and put back in 2 years ago, dont know if it is possible to have another clean or a new DPF. It’s strange that it is too full of soot yo rforcrcregrn, but I have no error on the dash.

Yes on first crank it spinning like a little difficult and slower.
Looks like it switch car from lower RPM.
Now it's 14 degree and it's much better than about 0.
