thanks for the replies....

so if I did decide to go for the additional battery module, i'm confused as how how I would wire this.

If I just use the battery pack connected to the cigarette socket, wouldn't I be in the same situation? where the battery pack would constantly charge (as the cigarette socket is on all the time)?

Yes width same at 7.5 and offset same at 52.5,
Looks like the dealer is saying it's not compatible as it didn't come as an option on that car.
Thanks Murcod

I did read that on another post here, need to get a set of mk1 nuts and locknuts. Slightly longer shoulder. More valuable advice from the forum.
Thanks Ozekuga

Have look at the manual for the battery pack, it explains how it works.

The 2018 Ford Kuga ST-line has a side skirt kit fitted as standard and it was never designed to fit Ford mudflaps.
As the standard mudflaps are moulded to fit around the wheel arch bottom rear edge the side skirt mould will not accommodate the mudflaps being fitted to your Kuga.

tit sport x 180 on a 15 plate for the right sort of cash BUT would that have sat -nav
some sites say yes it was standard on the tit x sport then others say no it was a option.
i seem to be going round and round in circles

Titanium X Sport does have sat nav as standard, and rear camera, trouble is some Titaniums are registered as X Sports and vice versa. No sat nav , not X Sport also part of the spec is full body kit in car colour, no matt black along bottom. The Sony head unit with sync 1 is part of the X sport up to 2015 when sync 2 was introduced

With Google maps and a while host of other options, why is factory sat nav so important? It's only something that costs money to keep up to date.

just a thing i have Ginger ale i just hate using a phone (bit small) or have one stuck on the screen
I know it sounds daft but i do like things built in.
i may wait until i can find one with the spec i want. There is plenty to chose from so one
will turn up i have been offed a tigers eye one but the wife is not into the colour lol
i do wonder if this one is just a tit or what because they have 3 in that are tit x sports but none have
nav or reversing camera fitted.
Main ford dealer at that.

If this is the one the seller response suggest there is a longer cable available (seems to be a common complaint on Amazon!) https://www.amazon.com/review/R1KLHH4JSJEK0/ref=ask_dp_lswr_rp_hza

Another post backed up what you posted - it sounds like a Mini B cable but only 5 pin? (Does a 6 pin still plug in?)

Out of curiosity when you look on Etis how is the car listed when you go to
Primary Features
Version

The Titanium X Sport is listed as a Titanium Plus

If you PM me your email I will send you a copy of the mk2 sales brochure with all the specs

Your Kuga ECU contains a break in programme .( 6 sp auto).for the first 500 miles it changes up at no more than 2000 rpm in D and 3000 in S. after 1000 miles it will also go to 4000/5000.
At 2000 miles the Ecu adjusts the fuel /timing and you can expect a 20% improvement in MPG.

Indeed, I'm assuming that as they don't specify it has to be a switched supply, the battery pack only supplies power to the camera when vehicle voltage is below what is necessary to charge the battery pack.

You could drop a note to the nodding donkey, sorry I mean BlackVue support and ask them if it needs to be s switched supply to the battery pack.
