Does that mean that if I were to buy the factory sensors, I could fit them & they would work or does anything need activating? Would it be the same at the front of the car?

Hi Morph,

There's some very cool toys on there. Who'll be the first KOC member to go for a pair of Lambo doors?

Try cleaning the sensors on the bumper sometimes bit of muck can stop them operating properly

Find some where quiet turn ignition on& put your ear to each sensor in turn & you should be able to hear the pulse on each one if one is not working it will not pulse....this should help you locate the faulty one............

Hi Leadman,

If neither the front or back is working it will probably be a problem with the control module or a power supply problem ie check the connectors to make sure they are making a good contact. If it is only the front or the back or an individual sensor then it will either be a defective sensor or a wiring problem, once again check the connectors.

Worth also checking the alarm is working and the fuse, I am not sure if the light in the switch is fed by the same fuse, if it is then fuse is obviously ok. Also worth checking that the alarm is working ok.

Cheers    .
Andy

You could have condensation inside and need a new control box or one of the sensors is faulty - get it checked out.

Trust me when I say these are the most annoying and pointless modification you can do to a car! You WILL smack yourself in the face with the door on any car with them!

it is for the rear parking sensors fitted at the factory.  Other components are needed for this installation such as speaker and control module.
the towbar is not connected outside the vehicle, but at the rear lights, and power point supply.

Owner of a 2013 Escape (Kuga) here in the states.  2.0 Ecoboost turbo fwd.  She rips!!!  Tons of fun.

Looking for more exterior excitement tho.

In looking at the mk1 Kuga tailgate, I have to say, it look identical.  Anyone attempted to fit an mk1 spoiler to a mk2 yet?

MK1

Even the back glass looks the same.

MK2:

Also dig that rear diffuser.  Looks to be very much the same shape!

Anyways.  Glad to be on board!

I found the same quotes with my 18" diamond cut alloys, and in the end just bought some new RS 18" wheels for £340

Now I've still also got the standard 18" wheels,  but can't see the point in refurbishing them to sell for £250 to just break even on the refurb costs

This advert is still current ...
A set of 4 18" RS Alloys for £240!! White with a machined (diamond cut) face Or including tyres £436 ... that's the price of a set of tyres with 4 free alloys ...?
