Glad to hear you like your new Kuga, I'm sure  will mine, can't wait to get it now.

Your not too far away from Mansfield either looking at your location.

Have you got used to all the spec?

To be honest, the car is for the other half, so I've only driven it a couple of times
She says that she is getting more familiar with it now, but still hasn't figured out how to use all the tech. As long as you know where the brakes & accelerator are, the rest can come with time!!!

LOL LOL,  I'm sure i will have fun finding out how to use all the tech. My husband has bought the car for myself too.
Hope your other half enjoys her car.

Apart from luggage I have givi bars, tall screen, wind deflectors
, heated grips and centre stand. I have ordered hugger, fender extender and baglux tank cover and looking at bash plate.

Sounds like you have spent a pretty penny on extras mate? Aren't Kappa the the less rip off version of Givi? With exactly the same fitting/locking system? I'm sure that used to be the case years ago anyway?

Regards Jez

PS.... Went out on my new toy today. I love my Triumph Speedmaster bobber/chopper but my new toy (Bandit 1200) makes it feel like an asthmatic snail with a heart defect!

Fillco - you want the results with the engine running or just ignition on?

Any update on this?

Now you mention it, I'll have to go and check mine Henrik (after TopGear Wink )
 - wonder if the 2014 date reset is a glitch on the mk1s  ...

Just checked Henrik - mine is showing 23/02/14

Worst device I've ever experienced!! From not calling you back with update to not being able to find a faulty injector for 2 month! So in a courtesy car fiesta for those 2 months with 3 small children and prams!!! They mis diagnosed the drives shafts as the vibration and swapped them twice!! I asked 3 times could it be injector ??? Reply no it's not showing up on computer HONESTLY worst service EVER AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Mine is also showing the correct date.
And last week I did some electrical work on the car, so the battery was off.
Later when I set everything up, I had no problem selecting the correct year.

Let some technician check the software. Seems to be some malfunciton.

This applies to Kuga's with Xenon headlights.

I don’t know if the MK1 have main beams are like the MK2s, but has anyone tested the main beams at night with the Xenon headlights off?

As expected when main beam is operated when Xenon’s are on, that the gate in the Bi-Xenon headlights flips to give the long range but the main beam which isnt a main beam really, fills in the road about 6m in front of the car. It was only last night I turned the headlights off so just sidelights were on and then flashed the supposed main beam. Are anyone else’s ‘main beam’ like mine, pathetic and dont seem shine anywhere but everywhere than the road ahead. Cant see any driver seeing these when you flash them in the daytime. Maybe they are really just ‘get you home lights’.

I have a 63 Kuga titanium and the keyless entry has stopped working can you switch this off by accident? Or is it a fault that is going to need to visit the dealer for.
Any help would be great

Thanks
