No question, fitted them to every car I've owned, but can't fit them to my mk2 Titanium X Sport as none available to fit body kit and yes they should be Ford as they are moulded to fit

You can get genuine Ford ones from Ford dealers on Ebay cheaper than going to your local dealer.

That's what I did.

Up and running with FORRScan on a laptop.

Getting the following errors:
CCMii - U0418:68-28
ABS -C0039:07-68
PAM - U0415:86-28
PAM - U100B:0000-28
PSCM - U0415:00-08

Thought the common denominator here would be the wheel speed sensor. Checked both sides for open circuit and neither are, does anyone know the resistance it should show?

Am I right in assuming the 'U' codes are just symptom codes and the 'C' code is the one i should concentrate on?

OK, it's not an ST-Line just a plain old Titanium-X.

You'll have to elaborate - using which method? dashboard button, tailgate button, fob button or (if fitted) keyless handsfree operation.

If it's the keyless handsfree you may not be swinging your foot underneath to sufficienly activate the sensor.

I too have just moved from Qashqai to Kuga, literally I only got it yesterday.
I had the 1.5 DCi which copes surprisingly well in such a heavy car, however the 2.0 TDCi in the Kuga is so much more powerful and smooth.

Yes, the Qashqai has more kit on it but it also has it's faults, my rear parking sensors used to play up, the blind spot monitoring used to alert me to phantom cars and I had fish eye vision from the passenger door mirror camera because it had water in it.

I have had 2 Qashqai's, the first one I had was the Mk1 which had the Bose sound system in it, the second one was a 2014 model and for some reason Nissan had dropped the Bose system. I must say the Sony in the Kuga is much better than the Qashqai, apart from the fact it keeps defaulting to the radio every time I start the engine instead of USB.

I had a lot of wind noise from the Qashqai, couldn't find exactly where it was coming from, but it was annoying. The Kuga is much quieter on the road. I had lost a couple of things which I really liked from the Qashqai which were the electric handbrake, electric folding mirrors and keyless entry but at the same time I have got a better sound system, opening panoramic roof and electric tailgate that I used to have on the C4 Picasso I had before the Qashqai. I think there is a lot of penny-pinching with the Nissan which lets it down a great car, for example the fact that they fit LED headlights & taillights but regular indicators. Also, the front indicators are so hard to see in daylight because they are positioned very close to the DRL which don't dim or turn off like most other manufacturers do.

Overall I am really happy with the Kuga, it feels much better put together and feels more solid.

I'd try clearing them all first and then see what comes back.

Well after buying a MK1 for my wife back in 2012, i have now had to update my work car and the choices were limited to only 3 cars. Knowing what i knew of her car and what they had done with the revised interior in the MK2 Kuga i chose to go with the Ford Escape, which is just a re-badged Kuga here in Australia. I was allowed a Trend and i got lucky as it ended up having the technology pack in it so i scored the adaptive cruise, lane change warning etc. Must say so far so good...I went with Ruby Red to stand out from all the silver Mondeos and other silver cars as work...

While i do like the changes, there are parts of the MK1 that i still think look nicer and i do think the MK1 had a tougher meaner look...

For those who did notice we do still have the wifes car, 5 years old and with only 16km's on the clock too good to swap over, this is the link to her car back when we got it..

Sorry, should have said, I cleared them all and reset the relevant modules, took it for a drive and they all came back within 100 yds of driving.

Very nice. There's nothing wrong with Ruby Red on the Mk2 but it seems to suit the facelift even more.

I see you went for the diesel, any reason for that, or was it the one that came along first?

Hi.andspenka.I have never driven a qashqai, but are very popular motors.i have noticed that ford & probably all car manufacturers do add more new features to update the models, they are probably on a budget whereby have to keep within it,so rear view cameras etc are now extras, but added is sync2 & now sync3,8inch screen, led lights, thicker door glass, etc, but I still love the car as does the boss, (wife)

The company i work for has gone the diesel route, all our new cars have to be. Not sure if they will get the economy from mine as most of my driving is bumper to bumper on the freeway in and out and then i am in the Melbourne CBD all day so plenty of stop start driving.
