I in my younger day raced sidecar cross and gras track little bit of short circuit road
race in all sidecar.
Enjoy your kuga

Anything in a sidecar is mental. I've seen a bit of grass track stuff as well - find it bonkers (and great entertainment at the same time)

My stuff is short circuit & occasional 'friendly' race. But I'm just as interested in race setup as I am riding. Hence taken a year from riding to build my ideal track bike on a £5k budget.

Back to the Kuga. Love it. Really nice to drive and don't think I've ever been really proud of a car I own until now.

Surely there are locating points accessible to screw in the towing eye, I would be going back to the dealer, that is not acceptable in my opinion

rcmark are you sure those pictures are from the new Kuga owner's manual? It isn't officially available yet in the UK http://www.ford.co.uk/Cars/New-Kuga and Ford UK don't have the owner's manual available on line yet either.

You can see an access hole on the rear, but nothing obvious on the front.

Update from the dealer(he called ford):
Ford say's yes the supports are there but you need to cut a hole if you want to use them.

I have seen people do it but don't know if it's legal.

I am not interested in towing on the road just getting unstuck in the sand.

Went to the ford dealer and they were surprising helpful.
Took the running light out and you can see the part it screws into.
We did our best to guesstimate the place to drill the hole:

Anyone have a better guess on where to drill the hole?

A guy in the USA (Ford Escape forums) adapted larger front Focus (ST?) discs to his Escape. He used off the shelf parts too (same calliper with a different mount.) He also fitted larger rear discs using a combo of parts from Mazda/ Ford.

But a pad change (like you've done) is usually enough.

Thanks for the Picture.

I wonder if the "cover" is available as a separate  part you can purchase.
(Got to be people that loose them)????????

Hello.  Quick update.  I've unsync'd everything and then resync'd and as expected I still encounter the issue.  I've noted that Siri was installed/activated with the IOS 10 release, so I have disabled this to see if it makes any difference and will let you know.

Thanks and sorry that it didn't work for you.  I had Siri activated before ois10 (not that it's worth much other than amusing Grandchildren!) but will be very happy to disable it if necessary.  My phone has behaved over the last few days but I'm still going to bite the bullet and see if the techies at Vospers Ford can come up with anything on Thursday - I will let you know.

Hi,

My Wife's Mk1 Titanium 163 AWD keeps coming up with "Power Steering Malfunction" with a bong bong once or twice a week but then goes out and drives no problem.
No fault codes showing on Forscan. Has anyone had or cured this problem before?

Many thanks,

Steve.
