Hi Chris, I  think those of us who really know about our cars pay any attention to Manufactures fuel figures anymore, we all know they are not done under really condition. But your figure of about 40 mpg for the 180 powershift ain't to bad, I might get a little more on my manual but not much. I will only do 18000 in three years when it goes back. So happy with those figures and even better with days news on fuel coming down its 112 for diesel in the North.

I agree, compared to my 1.6 diesel focus, on the same journeys as above I was getting 48 mpg, a lot lighter and 2 wd, so its not that bad!

I'me waiting for the first AWD 180 to post they've got 48mpg. The official figures for the new models are just incredible. 180 AWD has an official combined of 54.3 mpg, so take 15% off. If you dont achieve these figures its your driving style.

In perfect conditions in a manual 180 driving carefully on a single journey 48mpg may be possible. Covering the mileage to use a tank full of fuel I don't think its achievable.

Installation (drive2.ru - where else Big smile )
..."

Well, here come the same day when I agreed with Vovka umbertoo come to him for the installation of lights. In 12 00 we started. Vovk unscrewed bumper we just pulled off, and it was enough that would crawl under the screws and remove the old lamp. By the way to remove it is to unscrew a bunch of bumper bolts and remove the bucket clip, Ford tried to glory ... Well, after the installation process in reverse order. Everything fell regularly. or firmware or rework was required. Quality range is excellent, China does not smell. All clearance after installation is normal. Night light is great, just a distant bomb (in the spotlight are bi-xenon lens with folding curtains on the beam). The only thing that was revealed in stocks is that concealer works in the opposite direction t. E. "0" is the bottom, but the "4" is just to lift up to the top of the lens. But crime in this I do not see.
In dipped put xenon 5000K H7 socket (with a little refinement in the form of biting the plastic tab on the pedestal)
in the far light bulb is already in the spotlight. Plinth honestly have not looked.
blinker is connected to the turn signals in the fog. Special wire with all connectors comes to the spotlight.Plumbing, electrical tape to wind and other movements for "kolhozingu" not required!
At the end I want to say thank you for Vovka professional installation!

Are the front wings plastic on the mk2 like they are on the mk1? Cos if they are I don't get the colour mismatch on what is likely similar or same base material.

I keep an old hanky in the door pocket for a quick wipe of the dash and stereo.  Not as rank as it sounds,  it is clean and not used for it's intended purpose (!!) - being as they're thin cotton, they're lint free, so don't leave dust and whatnot behind.

There are dash cams that can link to an iPhone. Blackvue 500 is one. You could fit one to the rear screen. Not sure how easy it is to get the picture up when you want to reverse. I suspect it would be more mither than its worth.

Hey guys

My name is Chris am new to the forum.. I am too awaiting for my kuga to be delivered. I ordered on 12th Dec and was told it would take 2 weeks. I rang just before xmas to see if by chance it had arrived to be told there wouldn't be any movement over xmas and new year.. So after new year I contacted the dealership again on 6th Jan to be told it says on the system delivery by 10th Jan.. Contacted dealership again 13th Jan told be told my car is in Dagenham and that they have prioritised (number 5-highest priority supposedly).. So god only knows when I have the keys in hand.

I have bought 2L 150ps titanium Red colour, rear parking sensors, appearance pack. My previous car was a Peugeot 208 GTI 1.6 180BHP, sat nav, heated seats, front cornering fog lights, panoramic sun roof.

Thanks, that sounds very interesting.

I am trying to get my right hand drive Kuga re-registered in France. I have failed their Control Technique test because the horizontal light direction is towards the centre of the road rather than the kerb.

I don't actually "want" to buy/fit new lights if at all possible. I believed that it was only possible to adjust the vertical (which I have done by turning the outer of the plastic screws). If you can explain how I can adjust the horizontal I would be extremely grateful.

Many thanks
Mark

Hello.  It's been a while since I posted.   I took delivery of my new Mk2 Kuga Titanium today, after owning the Mk1 for 5 years or so.  Really pleased....except for the radio.  When I switch the engine off, I find the (Sony) radio stays on.  I find I have to switch it off manually before leaving the car.
Is this normal?
Is there a way of getting the radio to switch off when I press the "power off" button?
Thanks in advance
Lucy

A quick wipe over with Meguiars Interior detailer on a microfibre cloth seems to kill static nicely and doesnt leave it shiny.
