Thats been the case since before October last year. What was the date on the brochure you looked at? Suspect the sport has them.

![]() Just been to see our titanium x in its dress straight from the factory to the dealer and was offered a driver. Whilst having a nose around noticed the mats had no log and mentioned it. Was told by the salesman that there is a disclaimer that they can change without warning and that our car was built on a new run in April, they are the latest mats. It's not the end of the world. |

I wonder if that because of the powershift Ian that you get 34.
Having done 6200 now and if anything its dropped from 42 when I first got it to the 38/39 mark. Maybe it was my winter tyres that gave me 42mpg and the continental summer tyres are supposed to have less rolling resistance.
For one thing, Ford wont do anything about it, unless they surprise us.

![]() Interesting Phil about the diligence with regard to your area of business. I too have tried different brands of fuel and found no difference in fuel consumption. Mine appears to be worse than others as I am only getting 34mpg on 2.0 TDCi DPF, 163 Euro5, Diesel CRD, Titanium X, Powershift Auto, AWD. I have only done a total of 2300 miles so expect an improvement. |

Hi, i fitted my own bar and bypass relay for 7 pin wiring as you have done although i took my wiring in on the nearside and ran it across to the aux power outlet on the offside in the luggage compartment and have had no problems. Even without the trailer connected you should hear the relays inside the bypass unit operate when you turn on the various lights or brake or indicate. You could have a faulty bypass relay but ( and i dont want to insult your intelligence) but did you connect the earth wire to the bypass unit as a bad connection there ( or missing ?) would give the " nothing works" problem, Kind regards, Paul.

Hi, was told the same thing on several occations by my first dealer, no error on screen means that they cant track it. NOW my second dealer ship with a service manager whos got 40yrs under his belt and knows his stuff, informs me that there are several ways to read Fords software and there is most definately a way to recall error codes...unless you car was given to a spotty 17yr old still wet behind the ears, to work on that is.

Somebody with more knowledge than me will be along soon, but only thing I would ask is if the electrics were Ford specific as this seems to affect certain functions.

i wont swear to it but the fact that you can knock the TSP off/on in the dash menu may be cutting poewe to the ATC on your van, just a thought, and by the way, there is no visual indication that you have a trailer/caravan behind you, nither is there for TSP, ( ive been told that if its needed it will light up, bit late if it doesnt because of software issues)

Hi there,
I am a newbie to this forum so hello to everyone.I am also a newbie to owning an 2008 Kuga 2.0 diesel 4x4. Ive had the car about a month and absolutely love it. I have one concern and that is the road noise above 30mph. Untill i get to 30mph it is relatively quiet then its like a loud droning noise through the front of the car.Is this normal for the kuga or could it be a fault somewhere? I cant say i noticed when i first got the car. Its a noise i can live with but i dont obviously want to damge the car if it is a fault.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Love the forum already

Not sure if these will help, laid up with gout at mo so cant get out the car to run thru the menus, dont forget this is a stab in the dark, and could be a combination of the stability control and or sway control, as said theres very little info on the display to confirm one thing or another, and although your dealer should be able to help you, not all dealers are the same, as ive found out having to swap to a more informed dealership. Theres also the possibilty you may have to be hitched up as well to test this out as take my rear sensors for eg, i use a 13pin to 7 S&N and my rear sensors still work untill i actually connect the van up to the car 13 pin.

Id also make sure that the constant live is connected on the 13 pin, its supposed to be, but were talking Ford here....
