Yes I had the same problem when I was ADVISED the swap me front to me back. False economy NEVER a good idea. My tyres were £200 a pop. hence fitted cheap tyres r us.

Hi. Just gone through 1000 miles! 42.4 mpg according to the miles divided by gallons method. 42.6 on trip computer. Three 150 mile return trips, motorway, a roads and 20 mile London town return trips everyday.Second comparison, will do couple more to test trip computer accuracy. Delighted with Kuga. Still haven't turned on all the gadgets. Good motoring.

Although the day started raining, the rain clouds soon past over to leave a grey but dry day with the occasional sunshine breaking through.

I managed to catch up and meet 'KugaCat' and parked alongside to take a couple of pictures.

Also noticed that there were a few other Kuga's parked around the show ground, plus Hendy Ford had Tit X Sport on display.

A few pics of the Kuga's from today, anyone from here?

I've just done my first brim to brim fill up and the results are pleasing.

34.9 litres / 4.55 = 6.76 gallons.
337 miles / 6.76 = 43.9 mpg

The trip computer is saying 43.1 so this is better than I was expecting.

I am looking to put in a rear dashcam on the Kuga. What I've done in others is mount it directly onto the top of the tailgate window in the swept area and take the power from a switched live to the rear wiper motor (the one that parks the wiper when the ignition is on) it then lifts away with the tailgate and saves running cables through the rubber conduits and saves having the cam catching things at the top of the tailgate opening

The question is how best to get the inner trim off the small tailgate to get to the wiper motor connections?

Anyone done that, it looks like one of those trim bits that you break while trying to find the right way to remove it Angry

Hi Stupot

It was a very enjoyable day and was nice to catch up with you again and see your new Kuga.

You've taken some nice pictures, especially of the pair at the top of the page! Thank you for posting them.
My Kuga wasn't looking her best after travelling up in wet weather but your pics made her look cleaner than she was so thank you again.

I 'll keep my fingers crossed not sure if theres an error log for dealer to check or if it would need to be a total failure

He rang dealer, never heard of the problem occurring before. Tried second key then worked ok. No problem with first key later when tried again. Battery checked. Went to dealer and spoke to them, no conclusions.

Yes was good to catch up again and have a natter. Mine was not looking her best as it was spotless when I rolled it out of the garage this morning into the rain, and the gravel road within Beaulieu didn't help at all especially against white.

Hi guys
Has anyone used the Das 21E da polisher.?
How does it compare to the Das 6 pro or the Das 6 pro +
21E has a 21mm throw, Das6 pro+ has 15mm throw and the Das6 pro has an 8mm throw.
I have seen the 21E on offer at £130 including 2 free pads. Or is this overkill for occasional use on my own car only. (might do other halves car now and again if she makes me)LOL
