Interesting question there. I guess the owners on here with the different models should be able to answer that.
The shark fin while it may look good is ever a compromise for AM, FM and DAB though.
edit .... a quick look at some sales at dealers show the ones with a aerial rod seem to be the MK1, MK2 may use the heated windcreen or rear window element as an antennae which is always a good choice as there's plenty of exposed metal there. Sharkfin maybe for the models with sat nav.
