Subject: Failure to bleed after fuelfilter changed

I changed the fuel filter today. The car was on fairly level ground, filled the filter housing with fuel and put everything together. But now there is air in the system that I can not get out. Maybe I need to build a bleeding tool...
I'm out of ideas. And I need to leave the house tomorrow evening. This seems to be a challenge this time.
