Thats why I say interesting clip. Clearly in this particular condition it didnt want to move and I would think that with both front wheels having no resistance at all, (OK maybe like on wet ice) its a condition that fools the AWD control and maybe its worked OK in the previous models of the CRV. If Honda have gone back to the original firmware rather than the modified version that allowed it to drive, there will be a reason and I dont think it will be the supposed fact that Honda cost cut the rear drive. In real life conditions, I suspect it performs well so maybe we should not be too quick to judge.
In my test drive of the CRV against the Kuga (1 year ago) the slightly softer suspension that put me off it was the seating which didnt hold me, oh and the opening roof which the Honda didnt have and I do use.
While the Honda did feel a bit plastic inside, I thought the build quality and detail was above the Kuga. I've mentioned this before, close a Kuga door and close a CRV door.
BTW, if you'r front wheel's were spinning like they are in the clip, you would be increasing the revs, I'd be backing off. Also, what would traction control be doing in this condition, was it activated or deactivated on the Honda? Maybe its traction control that's holding the Honda steady?
