One thing I have noticed is that the car is a lot smoother to drive when loaded which seems to make the car more economical even if three adults and about 100kg of luggage. The powershift seems to adjust to the load and thus the gear changes are much smoother in traffic. I am a pretty steady driver but I am sure the fuel economy is slightly better with a bit of weight on board. I get constantly between 41 and 43 mpg so I am very happy with the car. One thing I did notice while travelling between Northern Ireland and East Anglia, the fuel is actually cheaper in Northern Ireland. I pay 1.28 per litre in my local garage, in England the cheapest I found was 1.32. usually its the other way round, we get penalised because of the transport costs across the sea for everything.
