Technical : Recall - PCM calibration

I'll second that. When my car went in for service I hadn't experienced the limp home problem then, I mentioned that there seemed to be an update available for sudden onset of limp home mode, so an ECU update my be available. There and then the guy on the service desk did a quick check and confirmed there wasn't one. Of course after the service I got the fault and I initially thought it was because they had replaced the air filter, which they don't at the first service, though I guess they may look at it. On contacting the service again, they were very apologetic but still confirmed that there was no update shown that should be carried out. I guess they are aware now though.

I'd expect Ford to hold back a roll out of an update to ensure that they have cured it and put in place a system of recall which it seems they have done, though frustrating for those that have endured this for quite some time.
