One thing to be mindful of: Ford don't actually stipulate a service period for the Haldex unit whereas Volvo (who fit the exact same unit do recommend a Haldex service) there's a thread or two on here where Mk1 owners have taken their vehicle to alternative garages in order to get the system serviced (oil & filter change).
