Hi NitroSi, thanks for the info (and others). It does seem strange changing such a popular colour, but it's not the first time Ford have done this. I believe they used to do a light(er) grey on the XR3i, then went on to change it to Mercury Grey when I had my 88 plate XR3i - now that was a nice colour.
If you have a look at the MK2 section, under Modifications, All LED & standard lamps, you'll find all the info there.
