Hi guys sorry to hear all about this issue you are having with your kugas.it's a real shame on such a lovely car I have one too.a question I would like to ask the time of your car going into limp home mode is it warm to fairly hot day the reason I ask is I had a mk2 focus RS with similar problem to you guys are facing.would be in the middle of overtaking or drop down a gear going up a hill engine management light came on car would go into limp mode took ages to figure out problem taking car back to dealers he couldn't find a problem but found out through RS owners club that it was due to the air box collapsing with heat under engine bay and engine sucking for more air I.e overtaking foot down and up steepish hill at speed on a hot day.its now a well knowing fault with them. when you opened air box after it happening you would never have knowing that it had happened so tuning companies came up with a stronger box ford didn't have that available at the time and after fitting one I never had an issue after that could be or a possibility that this is the same problem you are all facing when towing or going up hills to me I would say that this has happens to tivver500 hope this might be of some use to you all.
