Subject: Flashing red light above the Info light

hiya vinny, I think you must have just beaten the ECU on starting up. I used to drive a Ford Transit van, if I was too quick in turning the ignition on and then turning the key to start the engine I would sometimes get a flashing light on the dash (the same light as the immobilizer). Anyway, the same happens to my Kuga sometimes. I just turn the ignition off andwait a just a second before pushing the engine start button. Try it. Good Luck. Dodgy
