Thanks... Fillco I've seen the images of those hoses, that's why I guess they changed them to silicon for the extra temperature.
Raymondo111 I would have thought your mech guy would have changed the hoses when changing the sensor ?
To check the sensor their reading should be .5 volt on the metal sensors and 1 volt on the black kuga sensors ! (Bottom pin) That's With Keys In but engine not running ! KOEO (Also watch with the hoses as they are reversed (INTAKE) on the metal ones, compared to the plastic ones !!!
The other common fault with the sensor is it being a loose connection (3 pin connector) you have to force it in ! I'll check this out first as it costs nothing !!!
