Well Guys and girls here are my experiences of new car ownership over 32 years of driving. I have had a mixture of new and second hand cars, am I jinxed or just unlucky lol

Vauxhall Belmont 1.6  On the way home from the dealers it broke down, back at dealers it was found to have sand in the carburettor  from the casting process in the factory.  At 6 months the timing belt failed because the bearing in the water pump wore up

Daihatsu Sporttrak   At two weeks old the exhaust heat guard failed near the gearbox and fell off, At 8 weeks the central locking failed

Mazda 626 2.0   At 3 weeks the exhaust mounting at the rear failed, at 4 months the clutch mechanism failed.

Citroen XM 2.0 auto   At 3 months the sunroof failed, at 11,000 miles the oil seals on the valve stems failed, at 9 months the drop links on the front suspension failed.

BMW 525 touring   at 48,000 miles the front drivers side damper failed, at 2 years the climate control failed.

Renault Laguna 1.9 diesel  at 12,000 miles the alternator failed, at 28,000 miles the air conditioning failed, from about 6 weeks the trim started to self diss assemble its self.

Land Rover Freelander V6 hse  See start of post lol

Renault Scenic 1.6 Auto   At 21,000 miles the engine sensors all packed up on the top of the engine, one month later the drivers side drive shaft gater  failed, again from start trim diss assembled its self.

Peugeot 3008 allure 1.6 tiptronic   at two weeks the start stop mechanism failed, at 1 month it failed again, at two months the door rubber on the drivers side started to fail, at 8 months the windscreen started to leak.

can anyone better that lol
