MK2 How-To? : cigarette lighter socket

Thanks to you both for your replies
At the moment I just plug the camera in the cigarette lighter socket (I know its permanently live because
sometimes I have left it plugged in for by mistake at night )
I just thought if the socket came out easy I could hard wire to the back of it but I will run a new feed straight from the battery
