Subject: Appointment with Ford

With all the cars I have bought and sat across a desk from a sales person, it still sends a bit of a 'shiver', I suppose it's a trust thing... I have an appointment with my nearest Ford dealership this afternoon. I know what I would like "on the car", colour etc, and they seemed very confident on the phone setting the appointment, they could get me the deal to suit both of us?
I have a Mercedes that is only 17 months old and I know what the "Cap average, Cap clean and Cap Retail" prices are as I have a colleague who works in the trade who got them for me(but not Ford unfortunately)
I suppose it would better to talk about the trade value/settlement of my finance first off, to see if what they will give me, rather than get over excited about the car first only to find it could be 'out of reach?'
I have about £1000 between settlement and value, any similar buyers on here please?![Wink]( "Wink")
