Technical : Removing Passenger side door mirror cover

Hi, Had a guy scratch my mirror cover, I have a mate in the trade who is going to re-paint it for me, but wants me to remove it from the car.

Do any of you wonderful people know how these covers come off? don't want to just try and yank it off and snap something!.

Any help appreciated.
