So, I thought I would start a thread for people to discuss what the new MOT testing changes being brought in for May 2018 mean.
Are you an MOT tester? or Garage owner? Share knowledge here.
I have been periodically checking to see what the changes may mean for Mk1 owners. Mk2 owners will have different impacts from what I can tell.
I believe the changes that may effect owners are the changes to smoke emissions, and I hear stricter limits possibly for NOx and CO2 emissions.
Can anyone add any more clarity?
Speaking to my local tester, they and their inspector are currently none the wiser about impending changes.
