I was hoping to be able to feed the cable down the middle of the roof rather than round the sides near the airbags for the reason you said. The outer curve of the roof looks like I should be able to use a rod or something to push the cable through but the inner roof lining shape is a but more odd and I'm not sure if/ where the fixing points are.
