Has anyone fitted a dual cam setup where the front and rear are linked by a cable? I have seen people fitted a rear separate camera and took a supply from the rear fuse box but I have a 6 meter cable to link the 2 cameras as the power feed and memory card are on the front unit. When I have just tried to feed the cable, it's about 1 mtr too short.
The route I did was along the boot rubber down the left hand side as you look in the boot, along the boot floor and then under the trim to the front lhs door rubber then tried to follow that up the A piĺlar. The problem is the cable is about 1 mtr too short. The options I am thinking is get an extention and hide the joint somewhere or try to feed the cable between the roof and inside roof lining.
Has anyone had any experience feeding a cable between the roof and lining and how did they do it without removing all the trim?
