Subject: Sync 3 Update (released February)

Well, back to dealer today for ongoing DRL problem and supposedly Sync check and hopefully a call from Ford while I was there.....Unbelievably the call came from Ford and they also contacted the dealer with the result that car has to be booked in for the update which takes between 40 minutes and 5 hours, and according to the woman at Ford this will sort out the text issue. She said the normal dealer software update would not sort it out , it had to be a FDRS update and also that the issue is not rectified via the DIY USB update, it has to be done by the dealer. and that FDRS was a complete software rebuild, so back again on 23rd April........She also said she would diary me for a follow up call after............Pleased I kept firing off the emails now................DRL problem is fixed as well, complete new headlamp unit fitted under warranty ........happy days might be returning
