Without actually seeing the condition of the discs and pads no-one can give you an honest opinion. As for the caliper, hmmm, if the piston is leaking then a piston overhaul kit is all that may be required. Again, without seeing it, it's difficult to pass judgement.

![]() So just been to see my friend and he's quoted me £900. He seems to think I will need everything brake pads, discs and something called a caliber as. However ford only charged me 582 in total and they didn't mention discs. All they quoted me was for front of the brake pads and rear brake pads and shoes. So not sure why he's saying all these things need replacing. Am totally lost lol. Is it really necessary to change all discs and pads and these so called calibers? |
