Subject: Rear o/s stop & tail bulb

This is on a Focus not a Kuga but it might be worth a look.
I noticed a friend Focus (MK1.5) had a blown tail lamp. He replaced the bulb, nothing. Checked wiring and fuse all ok.
Changed the actual bulb holder and it worked. Same thing then happened to the light on the other side. Again he had to get a new bulb holder before it worked.
Never figured out why as the old holder looked ok.
Might be worth a try.
