So we are back to when everything switched on the voltage should still be up near 14V. If its dropping then the alternator isnt giving the output and could be due to belt slip, though I would think you would actually hear it slipping in the form or screech. The noise when you pull away, does this only occur when lights etc are on?
Only time I hear a screech is on hard acceleration no sound on start up or when I rev the car. No the noise happens with lights on and off under acceleration
