I am not to happy with Ford insure this year. I done my renewal over the phone first they could not find my policy number so I had to set up a new quote then when they sent me my new documents the age of my car was wrong , wrong registration , wrong name for other named driver and no legal cover what I asked for when I contacted them for the changes they charged me £25 admin charge I hate to think what will happen when I change my car in May. I think I will be looking some were else next year.

![]() Just collected my second Kuga Mk2 exactly the same spec as my previous car Titanium 163ps, AWD, 19" wheels, convenience pack, pearlescent paint Ice white is now Platinum white. Last year Ford Insure charged £325 for fully comp with protected bonus one named driver etc etc… This year when car crime has fallen and cheaper premiums are banded in the press and news, when cars have alarms and immobilisers and thieves needing the keys, so Ford Insure wanted £418 on questioning this………no movement possibly because they are not Royal Sun Alliance anymore but Allianz (think German Co.) Plan B contact Aviva to double check….yes they both use Nationwide crash repair centres amongst others, replacement car within a twelve month period if extensively damaged, etc etc their premium £243 with a £250 excess i asked what if a £150 excess…..thats £248 sir. So the savings speak volumes for comparible quotes. |
