I had this done a while back, after having the car for a week or so, noticed that it felt lumpy and power was dropping off at around 2,500 - 2,800 revs.
My mechanic recommended to have a Terraclean(£100) on the engine which did seem to free up the power nicely, but still had a bit of a weak spot around the same rev range.
Finally had a re-map (Midland remaps £179) and that has completely got rid of the flat spots! The engine is now silky smooth and much more responsive than before, but cannot comment on dpf issues although I make sure it gets a run on the motorway whenever possible.
2wd 140bhp (now around 175bhp and 290lbs torque)
