I am experiencing similar "pinking" noise although not predictable in terms of hot or cold engine etc. but always when under load at low revs. Very noticeable and annoying when it is there but just a quickly disappears and may not occur for two or three days.
Mentioned to my dealership and not very responsive.
Do you still have your problem ? or is it now resolved and if the latter what did you do? !![]()
