Well I took my 2014 Titanium 163 Diesel 4x4 manual in for is 3rd service with 11000 miles done asking for them to re-check the poor fuel average 39 mpg with town & motorway driving came back no problem found so as I was thinking of changing my car I started to look around and after looking around I plumped for a Gran Tourer BMW 220d M Sport X-drive auto with 3700 miles on the clock . But before I set of to Huddersfield which is 73 miles away from my home I reset the trip and MPG reading just to have one last check when I got to my destination checked the MPG and it was showing 38.9 mpg even after good open road conditions. Picked up the BMW reset the on board trip and mpg read out and set of home with the car set in Comfort program there is a Eco Pro setting which save even more fuel and a Sports setting ,but went with Comfort setting .The road conditions on the road home where just the same as when I came and so was my road speed but when I got back home looked at the mpg read out it was showing 50.2mpg and that shows me I have made the right choice with 3 year warranty with breakdown included and a service plan for 3 years for £299 and a far superior mpg and a class car with the finish and equipment to go with it.
