I think it really depends on how much the Dealer is on the ball, in my case I took a pre-ordered car that had everything I wanted so from build date 23/4/13 delivered to Dealer 15/5/13 and collected by me 18/5/13 so approx 3 1/2 weeks in total.
I tend to not be very fussy when loading up options, these tend to slow things down so my car is Frozen White, 140PS FWD with 18 inch wheels,Appearance Pack and Convenience Pack, when I enquired this was what was available, not too fussed about the 18inch wheels but for the extra £400.00 or so it wasn't a deal breaker and the car was available.
