Sorry, posted the above reply before I read your PM. Yes lets see what Eammon says, but he may simply use the plug.

You will see form my PM reply, that after seeing Eammon's I was tempted to obtain one too.

It cant be too hard to dismantle the power supply in the cigar lighter plug and make it more compact to hide in the lining or something. As far as running it on 12V, I'd like to know what the 12V is feeding in the camera first, if there is a regulater in the camera that is designed for an input of 5V, then without going into the technicalities it has to get rid of any extra heat in regulating the supply by reducing a further 7 - 9V (Supply of 12V to 14V).

I see its quite a long delivery from China the UK much shorter of course.


If I had one in my hand I could be a little more subjective.
